Fundraising 101 - Made Easy

When you registered for the Santa Barbara Triathlon we automatically created a personal fundraising page for you. You can find it by going to this page: http://www.active.com/donate/sbtri08 and clicking on the "View Fundraising Pages" drop-down menu. Your name will be in that list. Click on it and you will see your personal fundraising page URL (web address), which you will use in all of your emails and letters. You can personalize that page if you like, using our handy tips and tools to make your page as meaningful as possible. Raise as little as $125 to start earning prizes. Once you hit the $500 mark, you'll be eligible to win one of our top ten fundraising packages, which include resort packages, brand new bikes, restaurant gift certificates, running shoes, a DVD player, stand-up paddle lessons and much more!

These tools help you easily let friends, co-workers and family contribute to your fundraising efforts while you score all sorts of goodies. Simply open the sample email or letter, fill in your personal information and you're off and running.

You can create a mass email directly from your personal fundraising page - just use the "Invite Others To Contribute" tool on that page. If every SB Triathlon participant gets 7 friends to donate $5 each we will reach our goal of $50,000 to the Teacher's Fund and Computers For Families!
